Yes. I met him. I finally met him. In person. Haha. Mahn! He is the Man! He’s the sifu. He’s so confident with himself. He’s so sure of his work and himself. Ok w8. U must be wondering who I’m talking about. But then, U all must have known by now, I’m talking about Louis Pang. Heee..
Nywz, I went to the From Ordinary to Xtraordinaire seminar by Louis Pang organized by Epson last Sunday (I know.. it’s l8 to blog about it now.. no thanx to TMNUT, my streamyx conection is down for almost a week now) That was a hell of a seminar! Is all I could say. He did shared some tips is taking pictures but am not gonna say it one by one. But I’ll sum it up on what he covered that day.
- Skills play an important role.
- We need to have “the eye”.
- Lens or other equips is mere tools.
- Look for angles, symmetrical, colours, shadow etc
- Break the rules.
- Light.
- Chin up.
- Know how much u r worth.
- Be creative & daring.
- Interaction and keeping good terms with the clients is important.
- Too much stress is good as it challenges urself.
- Study ur environment.
- Lose urself.
- Ask for forgiveness instead of permission.
- Using Photoshop is ok.
- Last but not least, don’t ask a woman to spread their legs! (People who attended this seminar will know what I mean ;p)
Well, there’s a few more. But.. then it wouldn’t be fair for me to give it away just like dat right? ;p
